As a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible to supervise the execution of facilities planning, repairs, routine maintenance and stores functions within Honeywell Building Solutions. You will operate within the existing facilities control systems and process and provide guidance to direct reports on clearly defined objectives. You will manage the team to meet the customers’ needs in terms of delivery, inventory, cost and quality. You will build up team capability and lead continuous improvements.

You will report directly to our Sr Facilities Maintenance Manager and you'll work on site, out of our designated facility in Sherwood Park, AB.

+ Ensuring timely completion and adherence to preventive maintenance plans

+ Engage in the operation of facilities management

+ Manage and maintain facility assets

+ Participate in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) planning of site operations (resourcing, contractor scheduling etc.)

+ Oversee maintenance services using CMMS platform.

+ Identify minor repairs works to drive run rate

+ Budget and financial management

+ Third party contract management

+ OH&S risk assessment

+ Supervision of the planning and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, as well as renovation and expansion projects

+ Lead and guide direct reports

+ Recruit, retain, and develop high quality talent.

+ Lead Health, Safety and Environment compliance.

+ Resolve problems

+ Support cost and inventory reduction targets

+ Plan facilities repairs and upgrades

**MUST HAVE**

+ Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management and/or building maintenance including supervision of trades resources

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency maintenance

**WE VALUE**

+ Understanding of legislative requirements (e.g. Canadian Standards Association, Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Electrical Safety Authority, Ontario Building Code, Ontario Fire Marshal, Ministry of Labor, Ontario Accessibility Act)

+ Some experience in education institutions

+ Ability to motivate team members and drive results

+ Ability to lead/drive change, and influence others
