**Responsibilities**

+ Ensure the appropriate handling, processing and dispensing of all designated high risk medications in accordance with hospital policy.

+ Ensures the timely clarification of medication orders.

+ Assures entries to the patient medication profile present no significant problems in regard to drug interactions, drug-allergy interactions, incompatibilities, therapeutic duplications or patient safety, and intervenes as appropriate.

+ Prepares, verifies and dispenses medications in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing available safety features (eg, barcoding) as outlined in our facility policy.

**Qualifications**

Miniumum:

+ B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm D.

+ Valid Arizona pharmacist license

Preferred

+ One year hospital experience

+ Strong clinical pharmacy skills

+ Previous experience with Hospital Pharmacy computer systems

$51.66 - $74.91 /hour
