**Job Title: CNC Operator**

**Pay: $26/hr to $28/hr**

**Air Conditioned Facility**

**Fri/Sat/Sun 5am to 5pm**

**Job Description**

As a Machine Operator, you will play a pivotal role in the production process, operating various advanced machines such as press breaks, saws, drills, turret punches, lasers, and shears. Your expertise will ensure that production runs are set up, programmed, and calibrated to meet product specifications while troubleshooting and resolving complex machine issues. Monitoring machine performance and performing quality checks on parts and assemblies will be essential in maintaining high standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate various machines at an advanced level according to standard operating procedures.

+ Set up, program, and calibrate machines for production runs.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex machine issues, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems.

+ Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.

+ Perform final quality checks on parts and assemblies.

+ Train and mentor less experienced machine operators on advanced machine operation and troubleshooting techniques.

+ Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machines.

+ Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product designs and workflows.

+ Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine performance.

+ Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols.

+ Follow lean manufacturing guidelines and suggest continuous improvements.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in CNC Mill or Press Brake machine operations.

+ Experience working with sheet metal, cut, pressed, and punched to strict tolerances.

+ Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files.

+ Expertise in machine programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

+ Strong knowledge of machining techniques, including precision manufacturing.

+ Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

+ Strong leadership abilities with experience training and mentoring junior staff.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical certification or associate degree in machine operation, engineering, or related field preferred.

+ 5+ years of experience in machine operations, preferably with press breaks, turrets, lasers, and shears.

+ Commitment to quality control, safety, and continuous improvement.

**Shifts and Pay**

+ Fri-Sun 5am-5pm

+ $24-26/hour

+ 10% shift differential

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $56160.00/yr.
