We are looking for you to join our team as a **Manager, Project Management 2** based out of **Roy, Utah** supporting the Chief Information Digital Office (CIDO) for the Sentinel Program. **This leadership role is located on-site in Roy, Utah.**

The selected candidate will serve as a Functional Section Manager.

**Responsibilities include:**

+ Functionally manage a team of 7-12 project managers across multiple program activities and locations.

+ Conduct employee performance management, goal development, quarterly connections, leadership development, and knowledge retention.

+ Collaborate with CIDO program managers/senior leadership to understand project management staffing needs, leadership development, performance management, and training requirements.

+ Foster team engagement and collaboration to drive employee engagement, enhance development, improve training, and retain top talent.

+ Support section staffing for project managers through requisition development, facilitating and conducting interviews, onboarding, and mentoring staff.

+ Leads and directs project managers, providing managerial oversight for multiple projects.

+ Create and maintain standard processes and procedures for managing multiple projects to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.

+ Manage resources, communications, risk management, and develop standards, processes, and tools related to project management that align with both corporate and DS sector policies, procedures, and guidance.

+ Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of requirements supporting multiple projects.

+ Assist with integration activities, data calls, metrics generation, data collection, and reporting.

+ Interface with leadership and the team to update project status, scheduling forecasts, and address future obstacles

+ Delivering presentations and briefings on project status to internal leadership and customers.

+ Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization.

+ Identifying, allocating and managing project management resources, including workforce planning.

+ Evaluating performance based on defined expectations while overseeing projects and tasks assigned to the organizational group performed by non-exempt and/or exempt employees

+ Applying knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance

+ Identifying and addressing program impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Must have a Bachelor’s degree AND 6 years of related professional work experience OR a Master’s degree AND 4 years of related professional work experience.

+ **Must have current PMI PMP Certification**

+ Candidates must have the ability to obtain a Secret level clearance as well as the ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period, as determined by the company.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Current program access and familiarity with the Sentinel Program

+ ​Master’s Degree in a Science, Technical, Engineering or Math field (STEM)

+ Master of Business Administration (MBA), or advanced Project Management (PM) Degree/Certifications

+ Prior functional management experience and experience building diverse and inclusive teams

+ Prior experience coordinating across multiple disciplines and large teams

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Salary Range: $117,700.00 - $167,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
