Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting daily accounting operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial processes in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

• Process accounts payable (AP) transactions, including vendor invoices and payments.

• Manage accounts receivable (AR) activities, such as customer billing and collections.

• Handle invoice processing and ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.

• Conduct data entry tasks to maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

• Generate and review billing statements to ensure compliance with company policies.

• Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for accounting operations.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.

• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.

• Assist in analyzing financial data to support decision-making processes. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial data management.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Familiarity with billing practices and invoice processing.

• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
