**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Systems Security Officer to join our team. The Information Systems Security Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our organization's overall information systems security strategy. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Develop and implement comprehensive information systems security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the organization's digital assets and infrastructure.
+ Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
+ Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and breaches promptly, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the organization's systems and processes.
+ Monitor the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and regulations to continuously enhance the organization's security posture.
+ Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and stakeholders involved in information security initiatives.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in information systems security management.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders.
+ **Eligibility Requirement:** This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
