**Job Summary**
As a ServiceNow Technical Consultant for Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), you will consult with clients providing ServiceNow implementation, upgrade and support services.
**Job Description**
We are seeking a ServiceNow Technical Consultant for SPM. This is a 100% US-based remote opportunity. Candidates must be able to work in PST.
CAI is seeking a trained and certified ServiceNow Professional with experience in SPM. All work will be completed in ServiceNow and will require experience with the ServiceNow Create methodology using SDLC and PPM for all project status, requirements, story management and testing. Interacting daily within ServiceNow to manage stories, customer incidents and requests related to the build and implementation of ServiceNow Applications, Modules, etc.
The initial project will involve expanding SPM including Project and Portfolio Management and Financials. Candidates must be able to speak to what the client needs to do based on prior engagements. This project will be based in PST. Candidates based in CST and MST are desired.
**Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens and Green Card Holders/Permanent residents will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.**
**What You’ll Do**
+ Deliver end-to-end automated solutions which include technical implementation of the ServiceNow Platform, Core System, and Applications
+ Implement IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-based workflow customization, ticketing, process automation, report development, dashboard creation, and system configurations
+ Implement Project Management Professional (PMP)-based system configurations in ServiceNow including program, portfolio and project tasks as well as settings and data for timecards, resource assignments and financial project reporting
+ Guide clients towards out-of-the-box features and best practices
+ When needed, apply Agile software development practices for customizations to the platform
+ Organize and prioritize development effort, interfacing with vendors and management, and potentially coordinating effort of additional administrators
+ Consider dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable
+ Effectively manage and execute high level tasks assigned via 'stories'
+ Assists junior analysts through project(s) lifecycles
+ Manage work against demanding timelines
+ Communicate professionally and effectively, through verbal and non-verbal methods with business professionals and clients daily
**What You’ll Need**
Required:
+ Deep functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow SPM module and demonstrable experience with ServiceNow platform navigation, administration, configuration, and scripting
+ 5+ years of ServiceNow Development
+ Hands-on experience with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
+ Solid experience with integration.
+ Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required
+ Current ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) is required
+ Background in either software development or IT Service management
+ Understanding of ITIL concepts and IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and procedures
+ Understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) practices and procedures
+ Understanding of Agile based approach to software development (SCRUM experience a plus)
+ Ability to work remotely and largely unsupervised, and to deliver to written requirements
+ Effective communication skills via verbal and non-verbal methods
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Problem solving ability
+ Flexible and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Preferred:
+ Ability to architect, develop and convert customers legacy solutions into ServiceNow is a plus
+ ITIL v4 certification
**Physical Demands**
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
