Project Scope:

Contribute to the future of high-speed digital circuit design by analyzing how temperature and humidity affect dielectric materials. This internship supports the development of next-generation printed circuit board (PCB) materials for aerospace, telecommunications, and high-performance computing industries.

What You’ll Do:

Conduct hands-on material characterization using advanced lab techniques

Perform statistical analysis and compare results against industry benchmarks

Present key findings to the R&D team to influence real product development

Key Responsibilities:

Material Testing & Analysis: Measure dielectric constant (Dk) and loss tangent (Df) using Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and Split-Post Dielectric Resonator (SPDR).

Environmental Testing: Assess dielectric material performance using Thermomechanical Analysis (TMA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).

Moisture Impact Studies: Conduct humidity aging tests to examine material stability and performance.

Benchmarking & Industry Comparison: Compare properties with competitor materials and industry standards.

Data-Driven Recommendations: Use AI-powered statistical tools to analyze trends and enhance future material designs.

Ideal Candidates Are:

Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field

Experienced with hands-on lab work and statistical analysis

Familiar with Python, MATLAB, or JMP (preferred)

Compensation:

Bachelor’s Level: $22–$24/hr

Master’s Level: $25–$28/hr

PhD Level: $28–$32/hr
