**Responsibilities**

Our Medical Assistant under the direction of Physician prepares patients for examination and assists with examinations and minor office surgeries.

**Qualifications**

Minimum:

+ High School diploma or GED Certification of a Medical Assistant program

+ Current CPR through American Heart Association

+ Demonstrates skills in taking vital signs and height and weight measurements

+ Knowledge of sterile technique and handling of infectious waste Ability to work as a team and communicate well and interact appropriately with others

+ Able to work in spite of frequent interruptions

+ High level of concentration and attention to detail

Preferred:

+ Additional EMT or equivalent experience

+ PALS, ACLS, CPT

**Pay Range**

$23.11 - $25.88 /hour
