    Installation Technicians deploy cutting edge technology in various healthcare environments including ER, ICU, Trauma, CVICU, hybrid and surgery centers. Responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience by installing integrated audio-visual, mechanical and network systems of various configurations to deliver individualized caregiving solutions. Our installation technicians’ partner with internal teams including sales, project management, field service and engineers while representing Stryker in day-to-day customer interactions through detailed communication of project timelines, preinstall requirements, equipment delivery and room turnover.

    **Basic Function**

    + Provide onsite low level project management/installation/1st pass testing during integration process.

    + Supervise additional onsite installation personnel to achieve project completion if needed.

    + Perform instruction, full system testing and provide documentation on installed systems as defined in QIP.

    **Responsibilities**

    + Will make travel arrangements for self and possibly for other installation personnel, gather documentation and contact customer prior to every project when needed.

    + Will verify all aspects of infrastructure are in place upon arrival at site. Will work with and make suggestions to any/all contractors and customers regarding integration needs.

    What part will you play?

    The Senior Installation Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This position is the key field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients’ buildings. The install tech needs to coordinate with project management, field superintendents and others to fully understand their role on specific projects. They interpret our drawing packages to create the basis of the finished systems. The installation can include rack and enclosure build outs, panel terminations, device installation, testing and troubleshooting. The Senior Tech will be responsible for our most complex system designs, will mentor other technicians and set the example in all aspects of the job.

    What will you be doing?

    + You will be expected to know and learn what is on the BOM for every job and know the material required for your job.

    + Maintain timeline of job schedule with regards to when devices/head end work needs to be installed and terminated.

    + If you are not able to maintain a given timeline, it is expected for you to communicate that with the site supervisor ASAP.

    + Take ownership of job schedules for workload given to you.

    + Prioritize your time properly and be able to manage multiple tasks at any given time.

    + Maintain constant communication with the Site Supervisor on a daily basis.

    + Point out any/all problems found on drawings/matrix to Site Supervisor ASAP.

    + Communicate with Site Supervisor ASAP if equipment is missing/defective. Getting replacement inventory may be delayed due to lead times, hence it is very important to notify to appropriate party ASAP.

    + Help Site Supervisor with inventory if and when needed (maintain an online copy on one note)

    + Keep written records of the following on One Note:

    + Work accomplished with technicians/trades (sub-contractors, GC, EC)

    + Project issues

    + Discuss problems that may arise

    + Site Readiness Document

    + Site Inventory (kept up to date, at minimum, on a monthly basis)

    + Redlines/RFIs (if required)

    + Communicate the need for assistance and guidance for any work that is required for the job. This may include labor problems as well as technical issues.

    + Assist installation technicians on questions or concerns with installation of devices/head end work to be done.

    Complexity: This level of technician will be responsible for performing tasks on clients’ job sites with no supervision. This position is responsible for the coordination with clients, contractors and subcontractors. This position will be the key and only senior field supervisor in many situations and will be responsible for delegating work, monitoring others work and communicating with key stakeholders on behalf of the PM. This position requires the highest level of technical and people skills.

    Decision Making Authority: This position is often alone on the job sites and requires making good judgement about decisions that need to be made. In general, the project manager and a site supervisor are available to answer questions. This position is independent and will need to make onsite decisions on behalf of the PM. This position requires good diplomacy in working with our clients and other key stakeholders on the job sites.

    Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee. The employee may be exposed to construction site conditions on a regular basis. Employee will be responsible for their safety while on job sites and to comply with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites. The employee can typically spend at least 50% of their time on their feet and be required to mobile around the construction site. The employee must have the ability to occasionally climb ladders, use stairs and lift and/or move materials up to 40 pounds in construction areas. The individual is regularly required to use keyboards, test equipment and controls required for SI installation projects. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth vision.     The Associate Installation Technician (AIT) is an entry level position responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients.     **Summary**

    We're looking for a dedicated Field Technician to support the construction, maintenance, and operation of SRP's cellular Field Area Network and other wireless radio systems. This role involves extensive travel across SRP's power distribution and water service areas, with most work performed outdoors in varying conditions. Technicians are required to take callouts during nights, weekends, and holidays. While vehicles may be staged at a convenient SRP facility, weekly team meetings are held at the Papago Buttes location.

    **What You'll Do**

    + Installs, programs, and maintains various telecommunication technologies independently while also supporting others.

    + Updates work and asset management tools as needed while also supporting others.

    + Facilitates system changes and outages while also supporting others.

    + Participates in on call support related to network and system incidents.

    + Takes the lead on more complicated or less common tasks without support from others.

    + Provides technical leadership and mentorship to team.

    + Follows all policies, procedures, and standards to deliver safe, secure, reliable, and efficient solutions.

    + Verifies and updates network and system documentation.

    + Participates in all mandatory training ranging from safety to technology as required for the role.

    + Responsible for vehicle, test equipment, tools and any materials associated with work.

    + Supports the full lifecycle of telecommunication equipment and systems.

    + Works collaboratively with all stakeholders in the best interest of SRP.

    + Acts as an advisor in support of system designs, estimates, changes, improvements, or evaluations.

    + Manages time to support multiple jobs simultaneously and stays in contact with customers to ensure timelines are met.

    + Raises issues and seeks clarification with Engineering group pertaining to job NTPs

    + Performs new Substation builds and provides support to others.

    **What It Takes To Succeed**

    + Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytic skills, capable of addressing challenging technical issues.

    + Understanding of relevant telecom technologies and concepts.

    + Strong background in configuring and supporting telecommunications equipment.

    + Demonstrate experience in telecommunications networking and hardware support.

    + Understanding of various communication protocols (e.g., DNP3, SNTP, TCP/IP).

    + Diagnose and correct any issues that arise across complex layers of hardware and software.

    + Securely handle and protect sensitive information regarding BES Cyber Systems and Telecom Network Cyber Security (TNCS).

    + Possess personal computer skills including working knowledge of both hardware fundamentals and software applications.

    + Possess the ability to safely work indoors and outdoors in extreme weather conditions.

    + Ability to work independently or in a team environment to safely fulfill departmental and company goals.

    + Involves potential risks in working near and around energized lines and equipment.

    + Must be available to work overtime and accept callouts.

    **Experience**

    Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Telecom Technician 2 or 6 years related experience required for the Senior Technician level.

    + Technician 1, no experience required, this level will participate in a four-year apprenticeship, or equivalent training program.

    + Technician 2, minimum of 4 years of experience, completion of four-year apprenticeship or training program, or equivalent training.

    **Education**

    Completion of an appropriate Apprenticeship program or equivalent.

    **Hybrid Workplace**

    SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
